This term we will give classes in: Lindy Hop, Solo-Jazz &Tap

​Old-school Solo-Jazz, all levels

TRY FOR FREE: try the first class for free, but make sure to sign up before!

​This is our most popular dance class and it is built to accommodate both total beginners up to dancers with many years of experience - basically from beginners to professionals. Old-school Solo Jazz is built upon the African American dance tradition from the 1920's until the 1940's (Harlem, New York) and we will mostly dance to big band swing music. You will dance solo but yet at the same time together in a group with many other dancers. We will challenge everyone at their individual level. ​The class will be given in Swedish and/or English if there is a need for that.

Jazz it up at Lunch, ​Solo-Jazz all levels

Solo-Jazz (see above description for "Old-school Solo Jazz") at Wednesdays lunch-time. A 45 minute long dance class. No previous experience needed. This course can be combined with the Old-school Solo-Jazz class on Tuesday evenings if you want to get moving and grooving twice a week. See discount offer below!

​LINDY HOP, Total beginners

No previous experience needed! The class will be held in Swedish and/or English if there is a need for that.

​LINDY HOP, Fundamentals - fast dancing, kicks and Charleston

This course is suitable both for you who never danced Lindy Hop before but have experience of other dancing or is a quick learner but also for you who danced for about 1-2 years. In this course we always start from a different starting positions - meaning that you can take this course at least four semesters without learning the same material. After four semesters you can either stay for one more semester to get a solid foundation or, if your dancing feels fluent, move on to Lindy Hop Advanced. We will do our best to challenge you at your own individual level. The class will be held in Swedish and/or English if there is a need for that.

When: Thursdays 18.00-19.00

Start: Sept 4 - Nov 13 (totally 10 times with a break week 44)

​* You can sign up both as an individual and as a couple. We have a waiting list in case of an imbalance between followers and leaders. If you sign up as a couple (still switching/rotating partners during class) you will get in to the course no matter the waiting list. So if you end up on the waiting list you can either look for a partner to sign up with or wait for more people to sign up to even out the imbalance. Or, you can take the course as a leader if the followers waiting list is long. We normally switch/rotate partners during the class.

LINDY HOP, Advanced

To be able to follow this course you should know 6-counts (both triple steps and Jig Walks), 8-counts and Charleston and you have danced Lindy Hop for a few years. We always recommend to take the fundamental course up to 4 terms. In this course we will work with experimenting with the basics (therefor good if basics are solid), challenge you with new rhythms and we will work with the whole spectra of tempos from really slow to pretty fast.

You can successfully combine this class with the "Old school Solo-Jazz" class that starts right after in the same venue!
