Lindy Hop Beginners
The Lindy Hop Beginners class will have a separate schedule with only 2 hours of classes every evening and will also have separate teachers very experienced with beginners and lower levels.
Main Teachers
Lindy Hop Int-IntAdv, Lindy Hop Adv and Solo Jazz - From Africa to Harlem will meet all teachers below! We try to create a schedule so teachers meet all groups as equally as possible!
All Lindy Hop and Solo-Jazz teachers have been members of the world renowned dance troupe The Rhythm Hot Shots, which later on became "Harlem Hot Shots". Lennart and Ewa are founding members of the group and Martin and Anita became members shortly after. Åsa became a member of TRHS in the late 1990's and Daniel & Johanna became members just at the time when the group became Harlem Hot Shots. Rhythm- and Harlem Hot Shots has been a professional and internationally highly-recognized swing dance company from Sweden that was active from 1985. The troupe has performed all over the world, was part of starting Herräng Dance Camp, and was one of the forces behind the revival of Lindy Hop from the 80's and onwards.
We, Daniel and Åsa, want to bring in our friends and inspirators when it comes to old school swing-jazz dancing. Dancers who has inspired and taught us about this dance that we hold so dear to our hearts and all the members of the older generation has been trained and worked with some of the creators and giants of this dance like Frankie Manning, Al Minns, The Nicholas Brothers, Norma Miller, Leornard Read and many more.

Ousmane Camara will teach West African Dancing to all Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz groups.
Ousmane Camara is a professional dancer and teacher, originally from Guinea, and have been touring the world as a dancer with "Ballet Communale Matam". Ousmane has been very appreciated as the main West African dance teacher at Herräng Dance Camp for many years. |
