Local classes: May/June 2025

​Old-school Solo-Jazz, all levels

​This is our most popular dance class and it is built to accommodate both total beginners up to dancers with many years of experience - basically from beginners to professionals. Old-school Solo Jazz is built upon the African American dance tradition from the 1920's until the 1940's (Harlem, New York) and we will mostly dance to big band swing music. You will dance solo but yet at the same time together in a group with many other dancers. We will  challenge every one at there individual level. ​The class will be held in Swedish and/or English if there is a need for that. 
When: Tuesdays 19.30-20.30
Where: Spegelsalen, Pontusbadet (entrance on the corner closest to MAX)
Start:  May 13 - June 10 (totally 5 times)
Try for free: Try the first class for free, but please sign up before - bring your friends!
​Price: 750 SEK (375 SEK if you are 20 years old or younger and 600 SEK if you have taken other classes with us during 2025 already). If the course price is challenging, please contact us!

​Lindy Charleston

Charleston is one of the basic step in Lindy Hop. During this course we will work on different variations of the Charleston which is a very useful when dancing to faster music.
If you are totally new to Charleston or if you have done some Charleston moves before this course is going to be suitable for you. 
When: Thursdays 18.00-19.00
Where: Spegelsalen, Pontusbadet (entrance on the corner closest to MAX)
Start: May 8 - June 12 (totally 5 times with a break 29/5)
Price: 750 SEK (375 SEK if you are 20 years old or younger and 600 SEK if you have taken other classes with us during 2025 already). If the course price is challenging, please contact us!
* You can sign up both as an individual and as a couple. We have a waiting list in case of an imbalance between followers and leaders. If you sign up as a couple (still switching/rotating partners during class) you will get in to the course no matter the waiting list. So if you end up on the waiting list you can either look for a partner to sign up with or wait for more people to sign up to even out the imbalance. Or, you can take the course as a leader if the followers waiting list is long. We normally switch/rotate partners during the class.
