Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz workshop - Groove Juice Special

Location: Luleå, Sweden. Hälsans Hus - Sal 1 & 2.
Teachers:
Patrik Pettersson: Patrik is a dance teacher and member of the world famous swing dance company The Harlem Hot Shots. If you haven't seen Patrik dancing yet you have for sure missed something. With his strong, masculine and yet sensual way of moving he brings our thoughts straight back to Al Minns one of the original dancers of Whiteys Lindy Hoppers. Patrik's style is unique and is something extraordinaire and if there is one leader that is going to shine strong on the Lindy Heaven it is for sure this fellow dancer.
We will soon present Patriks partner for the weekend- She will get her own presentation in just a few days
Åsa och Daniel Heedman: Former members of The Rhythm Hot Shots and Harlem Hot Shots and with our 25 years of experience as professional dancers and teachers we will do our best to teach you what we have learnt from some of the original dancers that we had the chance to learn from, dance with and experience the dance from. We will pass on our love, our rhythm and our groove to you this weekend.
Levels: Beginners-Intermediate to Advanced.
When registering you will sign not need to sign up for any particular level. We will instead divide everyone into two groups when we meet on Saturday morning.
Lindy Hop Beginner-Intermediate/Intermediate: You should know the very basics in Lindy Hop like the Swing Out, Circle, Promenade, a few 6-counts, etc.
Lindy Hop Intermediate-Advanced/Advanced: You should have at least 100 hours of dancing Lindy Hop in your back-pocket. You are somewhat comfortable changing around your footwork and have a desire to get a challenge in your Lindy dancing.
Solo jazz: All levels welcome. We will challenge each and every one on their own level. Solo Jazz means that you dance on your own. It is a great way to learn and discover how you can move your body and find your own style, which is favorable to bring into your Lindy dancing. Teachers for solo-jazz is Åsa and Daniel Heedamn
