Åsa och Daniel Heedman are former members of the professional dance company "The Rhythm Hot Shots" and "Harlem Hot Shots". With 26 years of experience as professional dancers and instructors we will do our best to teach you what we have learnt from some of the original dancers that we had the chance to learn directly from. We will pass on our love and passion for this dance during this weekend. To read more about us please go to About Us.
We will focus on "groove" and the small little things that makes your dancing Groovy!
The Solo-Jazz classes will include steps and variations that we later on bring into your Lindy Hop, so the actual Solo-Jazz classes are a part on the Lindy Hop track. Traditionally Lindy Hop and Authentic Solo-Jazz are combined as one dance. If you are a Lindy Hopper with little experience of Solo-Jazz moves your dancing will suffer - So now let's fix that!
Lindy Hop level: To be able to take the whole weekend you need to be dancing on an Intermediate to Advanced level.
Solo-Jazz level: To only sign up for the Solo-Jazz track you can be on a Beginners-Intermediate level and up.

Prices
Full Workshop (Lindy Hop and Solo-Jazz for Lindy Hop, 8 h in total) - 1.000 SEK
Only Solo-Jazz (3,5 h of classes) - 470 SEK
Online alternative: If you can not attend the workshop in person you can buy an online video with all material: break down instructions, demonstrations, practice with music and any extra material. Price - 500 SEK (will be available in our online shop soon!).
The video will be sent to you 1 week after the workshop at the latest.
Social dance
Under current Covid-19 recommendations we will not organize an evening social dance.

Either you buy the online video through our online shop or you sign up to participate here in Luleå by following the below instructions.
Due to Covid-19 you will need to sign up as a couple to the actual workshop (or take the chance to register alone and see if there is any other "single" dancer that you can be partnered with for the workshop). You will dance with the same partner during the whole workshop.
