​online lindy hop, 2 classes per subject

​This course in Lindy Hop is a workshop for you who want to develop your Lindy hop but maybe don't have a chance to go to regular classes or want to dance even more than what your scene offers. As this is a partner dance you will need a partner to be able to do the course. 

LEVEL:  Intermediate up to Advanced 

GENERAL INFORMATION:
  • You can start the course when ever it suits you and your partner. You just send us an email and then we will start your workshop within one week.
  • To be able to do the course all you need is: 1) A computer and access to internet. 2) Some place to practice. 3) A wish to become a better dancer! 
  • One course (one theme) cost 140 Euro per person. 
  • The workshop includes:  2 videos per course.  Each video is material that would cover about one hour in a regular class. We will give you material, break down each move and give you all the input and small little details that you would need to know when learning the material. You will send us one video after you have worked with both videos and then we will send you a detailed feedback on how you are coming along with the material and your dancing. 
  • You pay for the course via Transferwise, we will send you further information when your course start. 
  • You choose one or two or more class themes from below. 
  • Our class themes might vary over time. Right now we we will give below classes but keep your eyes open for more themes to come.
CLASS THEMES:
  • Fundamental techniques: This might be your most important class. The technique is vary important in your development as a dancer. Tp be able to get the Swing out to feel nice and relaxed, to dance with rhythm in you leading instead of static tension, how to use the trippelsteps to travel the floor, the twist for the followers and details on how to get in and around in the swing out (based on what Norma Miller taught us), 
  • Frankie classics: You will learn figures like: Points and Cirls, 
  • Frankie classics 2: (less known to the scene today) Turn over charleson, Squat Charleston, ...
  • Al Minns Classics: typical moves, figures and foot work that Al Minns used to do in hos dancing. 
  • Fast dancing: technique, exercises and some fast dancing material from Day at the races
We will ask you to not spread the material that we are sending us as it is only for your private use. We would not like to see any of the material spread on internet or used in any other ways then helping your self on your own journey at becoming a better Lindy Hopper. Why? We have choose to live out of teaching Lindy Hop. If we would have chosen another job we would not be able to continue or career as Lindy Hop teachers. And to be able to have this as our one and only job we also need to get a sallery that we can live from, this means- we can not work for free.
